Luke 9:46-50
An argument arose among the disciples about which of them was the greatest. Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child and placed it by his side and said to them, "Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest."
Then John said in reply, "Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow in our company." Jesus said to him, "Do not prevent him, for whoever is not against you is for you."

- Edgardo LucenaMy reflection:
I think what the message of the Gospel today is trying to tell us is that, as Christians, we are all followers of Jesus Christ, which means that whatever Christian beliefs we have, we belong to the same Christ.
We are all brot...hers and sisters in Christ and there is no reason to say who is the greatest amongst ourselves or who is wrong or who is right, as long as we are serving Him according to His will.
One of the most important Christian value is to just value God more than anything, anybody, or any idea.
We value God when we acknowledge that He knows better than we do on what we need in our lives. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom (of God) and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you.”
We also value God when we love unconditionally. This is called “agape” love which means unmerited favor. This is true love that comes from God. Because of God's unmerited favor and grace, He offers all of mankind eternal life through Jesus Christ. Jude 21, advises us to value Godly love.
As long as we love God and love our neighbor, truly, we can call ourselves Christians.

God bless!
