Luke 9:7-9
Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was greatly perplexed because some were saying, "John has been raised from the dead"; others were saying, "Elijah has appeared"; still others, "One of the ancient prophets has arisen." But Herod said, "John I beheaded. Who then is this about whom I hear such things?" And he kept trying to see him.

Great spiritual leaders come and go. To name a few in the Bible, they were: Joshua, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Sirach, John the baptist, and the Twelve Apostles.

But the most loved of all is Jesus Christ, the redeemer of sin and our savior. ...

In the modern world, we have Gandhi, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Pope John Paul II and many others who in their own little way have shared and spread the Word of God.

I have seen kids as young as 13 years old as eloquent as a preacher sharing the "Word of God" on a bus. And I have seen transformation of people from being a "sinner" to becoming a servant of the lord.

Spiritual leaders will continue to come and go and I believe this is what God wants. He will not allow evil to prevail. If we look at the positive side of life, there are lots of good people around us performing the work of God.

Look around you. A good person is always with you.

God will prevail. God bless you!

    • Roberto Boy Garcia Yes, all those spiritual leaders paved the way for the coming of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God.
