Our Gospel for Feb 16. Blind Person Cured.

Mark 8:22-26

They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”

Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.”

Ang Pagpapagaling sa Lalaking Bulag na Taga-Betsaida
Marcos 8:22-26

I believe our Christ Jesus wanted to show us that faith has divine healing power. Imagine the simplicity of His healing tools. His spit and his touch to regain the sight of the blind man.

Perhaps you have heard about miracle healing of individuals whom doctors says has no chances of survival but all of a sudden got well and healed of their sickness.

This is somehow tricky because some people would not receive healing despite of their strong faith.

Remember a time in your life that you prayed so hard for a miracle but it did not turn out the way you wanted it to be?

I believe that its all God's will and we don't know why He allow other people to suffer and others to heal.

It's all about trusting God's plan for everyone and having a persevering faith that everything He designed is perfect no matter how good or bad we perceive it.

God bless us all forever!

these past few days ive been going through different hardships. My grandafather died, and it was unexpected, and right now iam missing him so much. sometimes,a thought of giving up is there but i'm trying to be strong for my mom. I believe that God does not only heal sick people but also those who have wounded heart.

I pray that He will continue to guide me and my family so that we can overcome everything that we are going through right now.

My understanding of his message is God healed him, he was blind but when God touch him his faith is restored, he can see clearly but when God said "dont go to the village" he's not ready to go public, his faith needs to mature first.

Please allow me to share these two beautiful Bible verses:

Be brave and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the LORD, your God, who marches with you; he will never fail you or forsake you." - Deutoronomy 31:6

Please pray for the success of my assigned community talk tonight, 9PM at the St. Peter Parish, Commonwealth Avenue, Q.C.

The topic is How to walk with God. If you have time please drop by.

God bless us all forever!
