Luke 10:1-9
The Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples
whom he sent ahead of him in pairs
to every town and place he intended to visit.
He said to them,
“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.
Go on your way;
behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.
Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals;
and greet no one along the way.
Into whatever house you enter,
first say, ‘Peace to this household.’
If a peaceful person lives there,
your peace will rest on him;
but if not, it will return to you.
Stay in the same house and eat and drink what is offered to you,
for the laborer deserves payment.
Do not move about from one house to another.
Whatever town you enter and they welcome you,
eat what is set before you,
cure the sick in it and say to them,
‘The Kingdom of God is at hand for you.’”

The Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples (missionaries) to share the blessings(Kingdom of God)to every town and place He intended them to go.
He warned them that they will experience danger along the way, (Lambs among wolves)or face persecution, rejection or even death, but they should not worry.
He also told them not to carry money bag, no sack,no sandals and greet no one along the way.(He assured them that everything is provided, as long as they focus on their task).
The 72 Disciples and the 12 Apostles started the Christianity in the world today under the leadership of Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Though not as many, they made Christianity (all Christian faith combined i.e., Catholic, Protestants, Latter Day Saints,INC, etc), the biggest religion in the world today.
As servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are all called upon to share the word of God everywhere, even on the net. As Bo Sanchez said, If Jesus is alive today, He will also make use of the internet to spread His teachings.
I myself am grateful that we have this medium to share His word in all parts of the globe.
I encourage you to be missionaries at heart in spreading the word of God in any way we can, to receive countless blessings from Him.
God bless us all more than we can imagine.
