Our Gospel for Nov 19. The Cleansing of the Temple.

Luke 19:45-48
Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out
those who were selling things, saying to them,
“It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer,
but you have made it a den of thieves.”
And every day he was teaching in the temple area.
The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile,
were seeking to put him to death,
but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose
because all the people were hanging on his words.

Nilinis ni Jesus ang Templo

Luke 19:45-48

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.- 1Cor 6:19-20

Our Body is God's Temple because the Holy Spirit dwells in us and is one in the triune God.

Our Gospel for today is the Cleansing of the Temple and Jesus wants it to be clean from all transgressions like wrath, greed,
envy, lust, sloth, pride and gluttony.

Why? Because if you have these evil bearings in your heart, how can He stay there everyday to teach you? -"And everyday he was teaching in the Temple area."

Instead, Jesus wants our Temple to have, Purity(Honesty), Self Control, Generosity,Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Satisfaction, Compassion and Humility.

Let's pray to God to frequently clean our Temple and invite Him to come into our life to be our Lord and Savior.

God bless all the Filipinos everywhere! In Jesus name. Amen.
